Mike is one of my dearest friends and all-time best conversation partners. We both share a deep interest in Christian history, mysticism, contemplative practices, and Occult traditions (which have never really been separate from the mystical or the mainstream). Mike also has an incredibly extensive collection of books on spirituality, Christianity, history, and the evolution of thought an humanity in general. He’s always trying to convince his friends to move to Asheville, and I’ve considered doing that simply to gain access to his library.
